Rules Brescia No Limits III

BRESCIANOLIMITS will take place on July 3rd, 2011 at Sant’Eufemia della Fonte (district of Brescia), starting from the Parish Recreation Centre (Oratorio) in Via Indipendenza.

Since the event is included in the calendar of Hinterland-Gardesano Sports Association, besides

the International Survival Race of 20 km
there will be also a non-competitive race of 8 km open to everybody
a competitive race for kids of 1.5 km
and a non-competitive race for little kids of 1 km


The international survival race is open to all those who, upon registration, are 18 years old and members of fhoursign Federations affiliated with IAAF or IPC (they must provide a copy of their membership card at the time of registration). The participants who have no membership cards must present a medical certificate, issued less than 12 months prior to the event, attesting their fitness to sport competitions.

Two different results lists will be drawn up: one for single athletes and one for teams. Teams must consist of three members: 2 men and 1 woman or 2 women and 1 man.


In the international survival race there will be several ordeals to overcome with natural and artificial obstacles..

The shooting contest and the canoe trial will be performed only by teams, all the other tests, such as hanging bridges and the new ordeals, have to be overcome by everybody.

The competitors must be completely self-sufficient, since no refreshment and sponge stations are provided along the course. They are therefhours recommended to take with themselves everything they need (water, energizers, etc.) during the race.


The event is covered by an insurance policy of public liability and by the accident insurance warranty agreed with FIASP by Hinterland-Gardesano Association.


Start and time limit:

The Brescia No Limits 20 km race will start at 9.30.

Time limit of 5 hours, after that the organisation members will pick up the contestants still staying on the track.

Start time of the kids' races at around 08:50;

The non-competitive race of 8 km will start at around 09:00;

SHOOTING CONTEST RULES

On arrival at the shooting range each competitor will be informed in detail about the basic rules and the correct behaviour for the safety of the athletes, the range officers and the spectators.

Instructions are given by qualified staff, they are all experienced in handling arms, both air and fire weapons, and they are well acquainted with the contest rules.

From now on the athletes will be referred to as shooters.

From now on the range officers will be referred to as RO

All arms will be at compressed air with power inferior to 7.5 Joule.

Any complaint can be made at the organization (G.S. Ducos) only at the end of the competition, it must be put in writing and presented upon payment of EUR 50.00, sum which will be returned in case the claim is accepted.

On the shooting range no claims or discussions are accepted, in order to enable each team to compete in due time.

At the shooting position with non-paper targets, the shooter must wear glasses, if he/she hasn’t any of his/her own, the organization will provide glasses, which will be duly disinfected at every turn.

Safety rules breaking by the shooter implies his/her immediate disqualification.

For what concerns safety rules no claims are accepted.

COURSE OF FIRE

Each team component will shoot alone, only one athlete must be present on the firing line, where the arms will be handed ready to be used.

Each shooter will be always followed by a RO, in order to have control, advice or help for what concerns safety, for the rest each shooter will have to be self-sufficient.

The choice of the shooting position will be made by the shooters themselves befhours starting the contest, once signed the name on the competition form, nothing can be changed.

In the standing position the shooter will have to remain with both feet within a marked space on the ground and then, leaning over the barrier put in front of the shooting position, befhours from one side and then from the other one, he/she will have to hit the four targets (cardboards) with 2 shots each.

In the kneeling position the shooter will have to put at least one knee on the ground, remaining in the marked space, and hit the targets.

In the prone position the shooter will have to remain in the marked space, lying on one’s stomach, and hit the targets.

Each shooter will have 8 shots at his/her disposal, the arms will be loaded and ready for use.

In every shooting position the shooter can hit the targets in the order he/she prefers.
